Although there are many Calendar plugins for WordPress available out there, finding the right one for your needs, can be a bit mind boggling.

With the hopes of helping you resolve this question, I am posting a few of the recommendations made by several of the more experienced WordPress individuals in the industry.

Now here’s one to consider if you are looking to attract attendees, sell tickets and more?

With this WP plugin, you can incorporate events into your posts, include also a Google map of the venue, sell tickets, integrated with PayPal and many more features including links to external sites etc.…

If you need more features apart from this you can get this plugin edited on some webmaster forums or get a new plugin developed as per your requirement..

Here’s another option…using an Embedded Google Calendar. This is an easy to use solution. It’s easy to maintain and set up looks clean. You can customize the size and also create multiple calendars if you are looking to categorize. You can then create html links within the details of the calendar posting for the links to the PDFs.

 

 

 

 

3) Calendar Plugin for WordPress #3.

WordPress Events Manager can be placed on a separate page and as you can edit the content of each event, you can also include links to pdf flyers and external sites.

 

4) Calendar Plugin for WordPress #4.

Now if WordPress plugins do not suit your requirement.. Another recommendation is to install a new script on to your site along with your WordPress installation.

Consider phpicalender, its good, versatile, takes 2 minutes to install and no headaches what so ever arising from its counterparts.

It’s really quite simple, if you want to integrate with your WP, just setup the script, create a page called calendar and change its Permalink to the directory in which you have installed script.

 

 

5) Calendar Plugin for WordPress #5.

Check out this WordPress Calendar plugin, it allows you to share your schedule with the world using your blogging software.

This calendar is an events calendar for WordPress that allows you to publish a monthly breakdown of your appointments and important dates for your blog readers to view.
